Webroot SecureAnywhere (last version) : Issue with automatic renewal over the internet: other keycode mentioned than my old keycode (since years) for payment. How can that happen? Has the licence be stohlen? Many thanks in advance for your help.
WEbroot saved my bootie when I made a dumb mistake 10 minutes after opening my brand new laaptop. I had, in my zeal, managed to download a very nasty bit of malware code which threatened the very life of my new super souped up computer. The peopleat WebRoot were great they got me sorted me out and gave me a full featured lifetime subscription to Webroot. Now, it is time to opgrade my OS to Windows 10. The only software on my system that I really care about not losing is Webroot and FixI It 123. Please tell me this will not be difficult and that the good folks at Webroot will find and honor my lifetime subscription deal. I tell everyone to get Webroot if they care about safely surfing the web. Peace Lisa
Having trouble with clipboard not functioning sporadically...was told to run SFC, tool doesn't work'
Hello! My name is Maurice and I was hoping to find some answers here tonite! Not exactly what I call a wiz with computers but I've some experience, so not total doob...I have a very annoying problem with the copy and paste function working sporadically...tried some online suggestions, nothing worked, so I put up with it for months...tonite I've had enough!! Tried to run SFC with elevated command prompt and found that IT didn't work...tried other suggestions ( DISM restore Health) that did NOT work either...it seems that whatever suggestion is offered has its own glitch or problem...can anyone point me in the right direction!?
I'm Eduardo, I was using my iphone to get into the internet, and it locked up, a window said "Safari has a problem and information of iphone is compromissed-call this number 1800 447 8361" I called and a person said they could correct that, asked me to connect my iphone to my computer and open a website where he could see my iphone, I did, he made a presentation where problem was, asked my zip code, i gave it and told me to take my computer to a place and they will eliminate the problem, he loaded a AA.BAT file in my desktop, and told me will cost $340. At this point it down on me, this is not correct, I double clicked on *.bat file, flickered file for a while and the guy on the line got upset for what I did and hang up. No serious service will do that, neither charge you. When I went to open my online banking, Chrome indicated my connection might not be secure, but Webroot, did not warned me or set off an alarm. Is there any way to detect how to correct this?, what a
I have a recurring problem. At random times, I'll see a line of circles, just smaller than a dime, in a vertical line about 4" from the left side of the screen. When they appear, my cursor seems to be drawn to the "search the web and Windows" button at the lower left of the screen, AND, various windows or tabs will start up by themselves. Sometimes I can close the all, sometimes I can not, and have to turn off my computer by holding the power button until it shuts down. Sometimes, If I do nothing and wait for it to stop, it will, and I can continue with what I wanted to do with no ill effects. Sometimes, I can't even get past the first lock screen to log on. Question for all of you.... Has anyone seen this particular problem? How did you get rid of it? It's a fairly new computer, and when I do a scan with Webroot, it finds nothing. My son sugggested it was a hardware problem, but I'm thinking software.&nb
I am reletively new to WEBROOT (8 month user with no problems) and am running WINDOWS 7. Recently, I did a "clean" with System Mechanic followed by a deep scan with WEBROOT. I've done this many times in the past with no problems. But this time, the system restarted with a black screen with an unmovable cursor at the top left of the screen. I can eventually clear this problem by doing an "alt-ctrl-del" and getting to F12 before the black screen comes up. Then I restart with the next-to-last option on the reboot list and then continuously click the shift key (a recipe I got off the NET!). Does anybody know what causes this problem and how to get back to "Normal" operation without reloading my system? Dr Bob PS This problem came about after I loaded SEAGATE Dashboard and did a systems backup which, by the way, gave me a message that the backup was "unsuccessful" because apparently one I/O file did not sucesessfully dump. I ha

Hi my name is Ray and I have just upgraded to windows 10 from 8.1. I usually use Yahoo as my browser/ homepage when online. I had setup the webroot task bar which included the password manager, but after the upgrade it disappeared and I can't seem to get it back. Does anyone know why?
Technically, I'm merely okay. I've started getting many underlined phrases in sites I visit that want to redirect me. Often, just by clicking on a chat group to contribute, I get redirected to a stupid survey, Quibids, etc. What can I do? It's only on my PC, not on my laptop. Thanks in advamce, Mac
