This is my first time using a VPN, & I was wondering how I connect to various websites. I have tried & the connection is terminated. Being a newbie, really don’t understand the process, I hope you don’t mind taking the time to explain how to connect & the process.
deleted and reloaded wifi security several times. Boots up, I press “connect” and it says connecting; then after awhile, the “connect: sign reappears without it having connected. My internet connection is good. My wifi is up and running without other problems. Can’t seem to get it to work. it worked fine until several days ago.
I too am now having ‘VPN not connecting’ error. Running 22.214.171.124. I uninstalled/reinstalled/rebooted. No change, Message is “connection failure” on the pink band at top of the “Connect” green screen. Using ‘Automatic Location’. OS is Windows 10. Haven’t tried the Android version lately. Ideas?
I recently got Webroot Wifi Security and it was working fine at first. However, recently it hasn’t been working on either of the Windows 10 computers connected to my account. It will appear to connect correctly at first, but after a short bit will revert back to my IP address and will not let me disconnect. This does not occur on my phone.
I have changed my password numerous times and I still can not get into the system for WiFi Security. Please cancel this part of webroot for me, It has been over a year and I still can not get in.I love the regular webroot program and will continue with that. But WiFi Security just does not work for me.Thank you.Ralph W. Agar, Jr.
So I am by no means a techie and this may be a very foolish question but my curiosity/concern radar is working overtime. Since installing Webroot WiFi Security and using a VPN I now see that my computer says under my Internet connection name “no internet, secured” and I now have showing a new “Hidden Network - Secured” that gets checked “connect automatically” even though I’ve unchecked it (several times). Is this the norm and that is for the VPN? Or is this something I need to figure out how to get off my computer? Thanks for the feedback and assistance.
I have and ASUS router and I have the option to load a VPN service so all my devices would be protected. I purchased the Webroot VPN assuming I could utilize the VPN configuration on my router. Is there an option within Webroot to do this? If not I would need to cancel with Webroot and utilize another VPN service. I hate to leave as I also have the Webroot antivirus suite as well. Please advise Thanks.
Installed on windows 10 The login works for a while then kicks me out with the above message in a pink dialogue box… stating please connect to the webroot help link for a solution, etc…??? It also appears to take some time to login now, as compared to earlier Web Security logins… Also the random ip locations does not seem too work very.. only US East.. US West and others do not work so well…?? Maybe it’s a settings issue… not sure..???
