Hi everyone! Here is a funny one. I was having trouble with logging in to Webroot WiFi Security on my PC. Submitted a ticket and the answer was to re-register my credentials and I did that and it worked fine. Now I go to log in on my iPad Pro and it won’t let me. Then I went to the support page and it won’t let me log in. Crazy! This is Sunday and I can’t call them either. BTW, what is a message tag? Best regards, Gerard
Hello' This morning it seems that my Wifi on my Android will not connect at all. This worked perfectly yesterday and before that. Stays on this screen and I've tried connecting to other places but same thing. Please advise. My Android has been rebooted. A few years ago I discovered Webroot and am convinced that Webroot Secure Anywhere is the best cyber security package available anywhere. Because I am a big Webroot fan, I was very excited when Webroot decided to offer a VPN. I was part of the Beta program and posted at that time, among other things, that my connection was erratic and it kept disconnecting and reconnecting. I was hoping that this would be resolved when Webroot released its final VPN product. Over the past couple of months since the release the Webroot VPN it disconnects and reconnects much too frequently as to make the product unusable. This occurs at all the different servers but the two in the US seem to be the worst. At times I am disconnected from the internet and it will not re connect. The only way to get re connected is to quit the Webroot VPN. This happens with the kill switch on or off, makes no difference. I have no connection problems with Webroot VPN not runni
I’ve had WR WiFi Security for a while, but only in the last 2 weeks or so have I actively been using it. I’m finding that I get my emails sporadically or not at all and when I send an email - it is getting hung up. I have to disconnect from the WR WiF Security in order to successfully send the email/receive current/days past emails. Additionally, I’m now getting a lot of spam where in the past (before I started using WR WiFi Security) I never got spam. I constantly get messages from Windows Live Mail that the mail server timed out. I’ve looked at this forum for answers but I haven’t found any.
Hi, I have been using SecureAnywhere, and I decided to buy the Wifi Security as well. So, I downloaded Webroot Wifi Security. The problem is when I login to it, it gives me a ‘Login Failed’ message stating ‘Check your credentials and try again. If you have not verified your account using the verification email, you must do so before logging in.’ This is on my Windows 10 laptop. Everything, that I can see, is up to date. I checked my credentials, they seem fine. I changed my password just in case that was it, but still the same message. I also tried this on my Android phone, but to no avail. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
When I try to login into webroot wi-fi, I keep getting "Check your credentials and try again. If you have not verified your account using the verification email, you must do so before logging in. I already did this, also changed passwords when I was able to get in the console, to make sure passwords for webroot secureanywhere & webroot wi-fi matched, but I still get that error message, I'm officially fed up now!
Starting last Saturday, when I try to use my Canon printer to scan documents, it gives me an error message. There were no problems in printing or copying. I contacted to Canon’s support group and we found that if we took Webroot down for a moment, that I was able to scan. Can someone tell me what to do so that I don't have to take Webroot down every time that I want to scan something? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated!
I can’t login to Webroot Wifi Security. When I try, I get the message “Wifi Security can’t connect. Please check your internet connection and try again”. There is no internet connection issue - I am posting this with the internet connection that I have. I have never had an issue logging in until I recently extended my subscription for 1 year. When calling in, I was told that my subscription has been extended on my current e-mail account, but I have no way of seeing whether that has happened - my Webroot Secure Anywhere account tells me I have a number of days remaining, but my Wifi Security account says nothing about a current subscription or how long it has to go (though I renewed to December 2020). Not sure why it’s so hard to extend a subscription or get a solution to this. I understand things go wrong sometimes, but I would expect this kind of issue to be solved fairly promptly after having paid for the service. If it’s not, then I’ll be moving to another product sadly, a
Hello, I purchased Webroot some time ago after reading this review I think it's great and I like the services very much. But I just noticed that you as well offer VPN services. Currently I'm using Surfshark that has CleanWeb feature that works like a malware/tracker/phishing protection and an adBlock as well. Does Webroot WiFi Security VPN provide similar features? If you have adBlock and tracker/malware protection implemented I would consider switching since I like your antivirus very much. And what protocol does it use on Android devices? Thank you.
deleted and reloaded wifi security several times. Boots up, I press “connect” and it says connecting; then after awhile, the “connect: sign reappears without it having connected. My internet connection is good. My wifi is up and running without other problems. Can’t seem to get it to work. it worked fine until several days ago.
So I am by no means a techie and this may be a very foolish question but my curiosity/concern radar is working overtime. Since installing Webroot WiFi Security and using a VPN I now see that my computer says under my Internet connection name “no internet, secured” and I now have showing a new “Hidden Network - Secured” that gets checked “connect automatically” even though I’ve unchecked it (several times). Is this the norm and that is for the VPN? Or is this something I need to figure out how to get off my computer? Thanks for the feedback and assistance.
Working with the non-beta WiFi Security VPN for the past few days. While I have expereince no significant issues with the mobile version the Win10 version has been problematic. The Win10 version has very frequent disconnects (a couple very 10 minutes) and when establishing or re-establishing a connection it will stay in "refreshing" status for more than 10 minutes (at which time I am frustrated going without VPN). My Win10 system checks are all is good. I can establish solid VPN connections with other services, so I am inclined to see this as a problem with WiFi Secure. I did not have this problem with the beta version of WiFi Security. I suspect either the VPN server provider used by Webroot has a traffic issue (as the Webroot software appears to install and initialize properly) or WiFi Security has a compatibility issue.
I am on a Mac running 10.14.3 (Mojave) with Webroot Wifi Security 1.0.3. I quit Wifi Security while it was connected. Now, my internet is completely blocked, and I cannot connect to anything on my Mac. I looked through the firewall and found nothing unusual. I tried to launch wifi security and login again, but it cant login because all internet connections are blocked. I finally had to quit everything and restart to get network back. Is there something I can do other than restarting to get network back when this happens? Thanks
