Hello forumfolks! Yesterday I bought Webroot Anywhere Complete, cause I thought it would be even better than my trusted security program (don't know if it's allowed, so I won't mention the name of the program) and because I can do without spam control and parental control. Really don't need these 2 features. But as it seems, I'm going to miss my trusted security program, because Webroot is giving me troubles, namely with it's toolbar. I'm using Internet Explorer 9 and every time I'm logging in a red bar appears, after a few seconds, telling me that my server connection is disabled (error 10) and I have to shut this bar down manually before I can go on surfing with my logged in toolbar. Another pet peeve is the fact that I have to log in my Webroot toolbar every time I open my browser, to be able to use the password manager. My trusted other security program was much better at that point, cause I only had to log in the first time I opened my browser and then it just stayed that way unti
Using WSA Complete 22.214.171.124 - no other security software active (MalwareBytes installed but is stand alone, free version) I get no indicators on any search (Bing, Yahoo, Google, etc.) with any browser (IE11, FF25.0.1, Chrome31). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I've had this program for a week before I bought Webroot, and for the life of me I cannot get rid of it. I try to remove it as a addon on my browser but it heals itself and it reappears the next time I open Firefox... Could Webroot locate this and burn it to the heavens for me? lol
SUMo shows that a new version of Webroot SecureAnywhere is available - v126.96.36.199. The Webroot page concurs, saying they use a gradual roll-out for updating. http://answers.webroot.com/Webroot/ukp.aspx?pid=10&app=vw&vw=1&login=1&json=1&solutionid=1098 Is there a rough ETA for getting the update? Also, in my opinion, having a nonfunction right-click item of "Check for updates" is useless and should be removed. Right now it says that I am at the current version (which I am not, I am at v188.8.131.52). So, not only does it not upgrade me via a pull, but it does not even see the upgrade as needed. If the only way to update is to wait for a phased push, why even have the right-click "Check for updates" item?

New to Webroot and new to Mac. Webroot System Analyzer identifies problems...ie:Time Machine Backup not enabled, high amount of RAM used by processes, large number of open files, firewall disabled, Gatekeeper disabled. How do I fix these things? Prior to Webroot I used Iobit and it fixed problems automatically or guided me through the process. I don't seem to have this option on Webroot. What do I do?
I purchased WSA Complete on 26th Dec 2013. My new product does not show safe searches (green ticks etc) in either IE11 or Google, nor does the filter extension appear in IE11 add-ons. Do I have to wait for the key to be updated on Webroot`s database before I get this (like in my old WSA Antivirus)? If so, how long does it take, as it could be a security issue as regards my children browsing the internet? Also, WSA Complete comes with a Toolbar. Does the Toolbar only deal with password management? I prefer to type in passwords so have disabled this. Or does it do more? Any advice greatly appreciated as it`s all new to me. Last point (for any webroot staff). I`ve changed my avatar pic once. Can I change it again, or are you only allowed the one change? Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to all George
For some reason today, my attempt(s) return the following error:Not all analysis routines could be completed because System Analyzer couldn't connect online. The major addition to my life is the fact that Microsoft Edge made behind-the-scene changes to Edge while I slept overnight. The error is bizarre because it always remains consistent even if I run System Analyzer while I am CONNECTED online!
I deleted by mistake all log files in WRData folder including its sub-folders (Pkg, Sync, wrUrl). :S From the nature of log files I don't think it should cause troubles but you never know and hence I rather ask. BTW, WSA including Backup&Sync and Password manager works fine. How it could happen, easily ... I created a custom rule in CCleaner and forgot to exclude WRData folder. :@ Thanks for your thoughts.
I was trying to change my scheduled scan time and received this message. Note: Although your settings will be saved locally, your PC is currently centrally managed by the Web Console & your settings may be over written on the next database communication. Can someone explain this to me?
Why did I just sped $100 and my internet is still being redirected to multiple pages and not useable. I asume this is ransomware since it keeps popping up with phone number guaranteeing to fix it. I was assured at Best Buy that all would be taken care of. Guess your product is not as COMPLETE as you state. I want it fixed now...or my money back. I have alway used Symantec products, but Best Buy assured me this was the best product on the market. What a SCAM!
Hi Everyone, Since earlier this week, the webroot extension has not been working. All it keeps saying is that This extension requires Webroot SecureAnywhere to be installed and running. I already do have Webroot secure anywhere installed and it is active. How can I fix it? I also noticed that Webroot hasn’t been scanning my computer. I need to know how to fix that too. Thank you in advance!
