Hi Could I please confirm the correct support number we are to call from Australia for support with Endpoint Protection? As per https://www.webroot.com/us/en/business/support/contact I have dialed 1 800 848 307, selected option 1 (the only option) and get informed the number is invalid / incomplete. My collegue over the last month has tried every number he can find for Webroot support online, and none of them connect. HE even tried the overseas number with no luck. Could you please confirm. Marty
Hello, I am trying to add either files or folders as exclusions in the webroot secure anywhere software. How do I do that? It seems like it was added in 2015 according to this forum post, but I can't find the feature: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Product-Questions/how-to-set-file-and-folder-exclusions-in-the-webroot-console/td-p/189775 Thanks.
Windows 10. Webroot won't launch. Can't uninstall to reinstall via Control Panel, Settings, or Administrative command line -uninstall switch. Get persistent "you must be logged on as administrator" message. Am logged on as administrator. Same problems in safe mode. Suggestions, please? ThanksSent that to customer service 2 days ago, not a peep. You guys know if there’s anybody awake over there? Thanks.
I recently had a long issue with uninstalling Webroot where unless using an -uninstall prompt, the software had no offer to uninstall. Then Later when trying to wipe the software’s files it left on the computer (pretty much everything except the .exe file) I ran into the issue of Webroot claiming I do not have system rights despite I being the only user as well as an administrator account. I have attempted taking ownership of the leftover files but nothing has happened besides the software posthumously refusing to leaf (haha) my hard drive. This is a very unique issue ive come across which ive only seen in virus software which even then I had some success of removing. Please may someone help me obliterate these files off my computer so I may have a neat install of Windows 10, Thank you and Sunday’s Blessings.
Hello everyone,,I'm curious on what others are doing with Windows Defender on Windows 10 if Webroot (or any other A/V's for that matter) is installed (and I want to Webroot to be the main/only A/V) ? If "best practice" is to turn off Webroot, how are you all doing this with your RMM (disable ALL Windows Defender related services, something else ?)
I tried to launch a game from steam, but it won’t load due to the missing wrdll.x64.dlll file. I don’t know what this file is but I think this is a webroot file since there are other topic mentioning wrdll. I never have this problem before and it just suddenly come up.Here is a screenshot of the error message : I’ve tried uninstalling webroot and launching the game again. But it still shows the same message.I reinstalled it again, hoping that the dll file will be installed as well but it’s still missing. My current webroot version is 184.108.40.206 The error only occur with games that has easy anti cheat. Other games without it can load just fine.Any idea on how to solve this? Thank you.
Since I have an account at Ally Bank, I get a free version of WSA. But, I can’t find any information as to whether or not it includes anti-spyware. Under the Identity Protection tab, it just shows Identity Shield and Phishing Shield. I don’t see anything about anti-spyware. How do I know if I have this?

Hello, for the second time WinRing0_1_2_0 has come up as a rootkit. How do I tell if it really is since 2 other programs have not identified it? Last time I went down the rabbit hole and uninstalled it, then WebRoot continued to identify different files that were rootkits. After the 6th removal task (and a couple hours) I gave up and just used a disk image from a week prior and the problem did not return until today, approximately a month after the last time.
Battle.Net Launcher was created by Blizzard Entertainment. It’s used to launch all their games. I’ve used both Battle.Net Launcher and Webroot for 7+ years and I’ve never seen this before. Webroot Threats Detected:Malware GroupW32.Trojan.Dynamer It says it’s the Launcher which ends with: “exe.50.10808.temp” Does anyone else use Battle.Net Launcher, or has anyone seen this before? I trust Blizzard, so I don’t want to jump the gun here or do anything hasty like remove Battle.Net, but this is definitely a first.Help much appreciated.
Nvidia Graphics driver update is being detected as malware. I cannot update my graphics drivers unless I can temporarily turn off protection or whitelist the .exe. Until the graphics driver is updated, I cannot use many application on my PC, including some Steam games.I am unable to temporarily turn off protection as I have lost the password to the desktop app.I tried using the web console to manage the desktop app, but my PC is not showing up. I need a way to recover the desktop app password. I would like to somehow resync the desktop app and webapp so I can remotely manage. Nvidia graphics driver should not be detected as malware.
My Malwarebytes Anti-Malware professional v2.00.02.1012 was working fine until the latest update of webroot to version 220.127.116.11. Now Malwarebytes will not launch at all, comes up with error that program failed to launch and to check windows for a solution which is useless. I uninstalled the program but reinstall comes up with dozens of error messages and the program fails to launch again, same error as before while Webroot active protection is enabled. I uninstalled Malwarebytes with Revo Uninstaller to remove any leftover files and registries and then I disabled active protection in webroot and reinstalled Malwarebytes again for a 3rd time and now it installs correctly. Re-enabling the active protection seems to be okay for now. Will post any updates I find.
