Webroot Secure Anywhere online automatically logs me out
I’ve had a horrible night. I hardly ever log in to my account online. I need to delete a device from my subscription. I thought I created an online account but the log in wouldn’t work. I submitted a request via email to reset my password. No email came. I created a new online account by clicking the link in the Webroot Secure Anywhere app. I went through all the steps to create a two factor authentication. Now, as soon as I log in, I am automatically logged out. It does it in both Edge and Chrome browsers. Customer Technical Support is closed. I have been working on this for two hours. I am going to bed. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Shield Plus Cyber Package?
I'm flummoxed with WSA and a probable false positive
Having tried several security programs, I installed the trial version of WSA, although I'm not sure exactly which variant. This morning, I tried to enter http://www.cyprus-mail.com/ and got the following message This surprised me because it is a site I've trusted for years, without problems. I therefore tried a few malware web detectors and they all said there was no malware. Consequently, I tried to click on 'Allow' ad it said to the effect that I had no right to allow it and to consult Admin. I tried to open WSA and it refused to let me, I had to consult Admin (which I am). WSA seems to be a good system with a lot of advantages but, if this kind of obstacle is thrown up, I don't know whether it is what I need for my 3 computers. If I do decide to purchase it, I'm not sure how to go about this in view of the fact that I haven't a clue as to which ver
wsdaemon on mac taking 90% of RAM, causing connectivity issues
I've been seeing Webroot's wsdaemon process taking up 90% of my RAM (7.27 of 8GB), after which it starts to cause issues with other applications, e.g. that Chrome will show 'the connection has been reset' for various websites. After I kill wsdaemon in the activity manager, things operate normally. I have had to do this multiple times after doing a clean install of MacOS Catalina. I reinstalled the OS from scratch, i.e. a clean install. I've also kept the OS and Webroot SecureAnywhere up to date. The scan log doesn't show any errors. Any thoughts? It seems like a memory leak to me.
Log in problem.
Hi everyone! Here is a funny one. I was having trouble with logging in to Webroot WiFi Security on my PC. Submitted a ticket and the answer was to re-register my credentials and I did that and it worked fine. Now I go to log in on my iPad Pro and it won’t let me. Then I went to the support page and it won’t let me log in. Crazy! This is Sunday and I can’t call them either. BTW, what is a message tag? Best regards, Gerard
Galaxy S6 active stuck on lock screen after scream sent
I sent a scream to my phone using webroot app to see how well it works. After entering 4 number code it goes to home screen then disables itself by going to black screen before I can do anything. Tried going online to fix but no luck. Any suggestions.
Webroot Installer - 2 instances in startup
I've noticed two instances of "Webroot Installer" in my Startup programs in the task manager on Windows 8. Both appear identical and are listed as High Startup Impact. The program named in Properties is wruninstall.exe. What are they for? Why are there two? Can they safely be disabled? Thanks.
Hello, I have done all of my usual stuff to get rid of virus', adware, and spyware and this is attached to me outlook. It causes it to crash when I am checking my mail, popping up when i click on certain spam, which i am guessing is being sent form this site, and then causing my outlook to crash. I can't even attempt to deleate it as it causes the crash. I have read about this and see that windows defender is suppose to get rid of it but it will not run, I am guessing because of a conflict with Webroot. I turned of Webroot and defender will still not run. Can someone please help me, it's driving me nuts! Thanks.

Create a NEW My Account?? Why? Is this May 2022 popup even from Webroot?
I have had a Webroot account for years now, but each morning for about the last week when I start my Windows 10 PC, this popup appears telling me to “click here” to “create a NEW My Account.” Is this (late May 2022) popup even from Webroot? If it is, why am I being asked to create an account when I already have one (sounds highly suspicious to me)? If the popup is not from Webroot, what steps should I take to eradicate the little vermin? Thank you.
Will Webroot work on a Kindle Fire HD?Knowledge Base
Question
Will Webroot work on a Kindle Fire HD?
Answer
Yes, however Amazon made a change in a recent update to the Kindle Fire HD, which prevents Device Administrator from being enabled for 3rd party applications. The Webroot SecureAnywhere Mobile app requires Device Administrator to use Lost Device Protection. Due to the limitations imposed by the device manufacturer, some normal app features, such as Wipe and password protection during uninstallation, may not function correctly.

The difference between a 'deep' scan and a 'full' scanKnowledge Base
Question
What's the technical difference between a deep scan and a full scan?
Answer

Deep scan:
This is the normal, default scan mode. Webroot SecureAnywhere (WSA) inspects system configuration information (registry and file locations, running processes, loaded modules, etc) to determine what is loaded into memory, and what definitely will or is likely to load into memory during normal computer use. These files are then initially scanned by generating an MD5 hash of the full file and submitting it to the cloud system. If the item is known as Good, this data is cached and no further action is taken. If the file is known as Bad, it is inspected more deeply, interdicted if currently in memory, and the cleanup engine is brought into play to start keeping track as the scan continues. If the file is reported as Unknown, it has further information gathered about it and submitted to t
Completely Stuck with Webroot Catalina installation
I’ve been a big fan of webroot for many years, but that's changed since upgrading my iMac to Catalina. The support response is so slow that i’ll probably have a virus before somebody replies with anything other than a click this download button, it will all work fine. I’ve gone from a constant update window with a never ending scan to a point now where I have nothing. It won’t install it won’t do anything - nada Maybe it’s me, but I don't thinks so, everything else works ok. Initially I tried clicking uninstall in the about, that didn’t work. I drag it from application to the bin. Reboot, try another install, that doesn’t work. It just hangs. Am I the only one completely stuck? I’m by no means a mac os expert so I may be making a numpty mistake. But installation doesn’t seem to kick off at all for me. Is there a UK telephone number I can call or someone who can remote login to help? Thank you, Matthew
I just want to make a very important statement:
Webroot is the best software that money can buy. The software is so reliable. No other software out there can do what webroot does. It protects you where ever you go, hence secure anywhere. I am very confident to tell anyone and everyone to buy this software they would not be disappointed. With that being said KUDOS to the programmer(s) and the thought process that went into developing this software product. Thank you again. Julie :D
