I have Windows 10 Home and use Firefox (version 84.0.2) along with the latest Webroot (version 184.108.40.206). Though Firefox recently updated, Webroot Threat Shield was still working until yesterday when I noticed I was not getting the green check marks and other visual safety indicators when I did a search on Firefox. No icons appear at all next to the individual search results.I had this same problem back in late November 2020 (only at that time I just saw spinning circles). My Firefox had recently updated to version 83 before this happened. I wrote about the issue here and was given a link to latest version of Webroot which instantly solved the problem, but believe I have the latest version of Webroot SecureAnywhere now so I’m not sure what the issue could be.Checked extensions in Firefox and Webroot Threat Shield is listed there as “Enabled.” Anyone know what could be happening so I can fix this? Thanks!

I am a home user - renewed my license several months ago. It looks as though login process changed in early December. I’m unable to login now because, while I have a email, password, and keycode, I am hitting a page asking for an authentication code. How do I get this code? Or, what am I doing wrong? Without it, can’t log in. Spent 45 minutes on hold trying to reach tech support. Thanks!
I just checked my Event Viewer (Windows Logs>>Application) and noticed errors regarding Webroot. The following 2 errors each appear at least several hundred times: Product: Core -- Error 1721. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action: CA_WRSKYCLIENT_UNREGISTER, location: C:\Program Files\Webroot\Core\WRSkyClient.x64.exe, command: -unregserver Product: Core -- Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action CA_WRCA_INSTALL, location: C:\windows\Installer\MSI389D.tmp, command: /Install "C:\Program Files\Webroot\Core\\" Is this a problem with Webroot, or just my installation of Webroot. I’m using SecureAnywhere V220.127.116.11 on a Windows 7 Home Premium Thanks
Yesterday I tried to install my webroot I got with a new computer from best buy. I got an error message that said code was correct but something was preventing webroot from installing … gave me a number to call. I called number and speak to tech, he says that my settings in my network were set to public and i had 31 devices connecting. He had me click on the support box on the webroot screen and I allowed him access to computer to fix the problem. It was my understanding this was a webroot tech… but when he was done and my webroot was installed he wanted to sell me this firewall protection and lifetime webroot subscription and that he worked for a company that was called Tekwire. Said I didn’t have to pay anything right now and am supposed to decide today? I have no idea what is happening. Anyone heard of this ?

What is the status on adding this feature? That is, being able to at least somewhat set a combination of Deep/Full vs Quick scan schedules. I’d simply like to run a Deep/Full maybe once a week and Quick everyday. Can’t do that now unless I’ve missed it. I have a Mac with a slow HD and Deep takes 3 hours. Though Deep/Full runs very much quicker on my wife’s with an SSD, even though both Mac mini’s are years old.Below is info from a similar question/request from about 2 years ago. Both Deep and Quick scan schedules
Hi Webroot Community, I’ve recently joined Webroot as the new Product Manager for Consoles. Whilst I’ve worked in IT for nearly 20 years, the world of cyber resilience is new to me, so I’ve got lots to learn and can’t wait to get started.I'm really looking forward to getting to know everyone on here and I’m sure it’s going to be a great place to get feedback and ideas to make our Products even better! You’ll no doubt see me popping up on the various posts and forums over the next few weeks, but if you have any questions that I can help with or just want to say hi, please post them below. Finally, I would just like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & Prosperous New Year!
I have a 6 year old mac. Still works fine. I uninstalled Webroot. Then reinstalled it and i’m told my version of Mac OSX is too old. I’ve tried installing a new operating system on my mac but my mac is too old. Do i need to buy a new mac to use webroot? Can i access an older version of webroot as i still have a 1 year Webroot subscription to use
