Why in 2019 does Webroot (Business) score so badly when tested with AV Test. https://www.av-test.org/en/antivirus/business-windows-client/manufacturer/webroot/ WR has not detected a lot of malware on my client PC’s but then again neither did Malwarebytes when I tested it in them…. Regards, XT
I get notifications multpile times a day that both Webroot and Windows defender are turned off. This has happened since I had to uninstall and then reinstall Webroot to my computer. I am thinkinging there were possibly some files that didn’t fully get removed during the install that are now causing an issue with windows recognizing webroot. Please let me know how this can be fixed. I am concerned by it not only because it is annoying, but I do not want my computer left vulnerable since my webroot program now seems to freeze, hang, or close it self down at random times. I am on Windows Home, Dell Inspirion 7777, Please advise.
I found that computers with latest Windows will get the latest Webroot update 220.127.116.11 and after that network printing to Konica Minolta C220 will slow down 10 sec per job. The problem can be reproduced. It will not affect Windows 1909 18363.476 and Webroot 18.104.22.168 but after updating to 22.214.171.124 printing will slow down. If I disable webroot it will be quick again.
Whenever my pc does a background scan and the little green box pops up to tell me all is ok I have started getting a windows message in the notification area telling me to check my antivirus as webroot and defender are off, which they are not as I can see and interact with them in the taskbar. This only started happening a week or so ago and I didn't worry to much about it at the time, but now I am wondering what's going on
I play both project cars and Rfactor2 racing games and the game loads but The rooms for racing ar not loading, I only get a few, like 3 and I know there are over 400 on rfactor and 100 races in project cars When I disable webroot everything works great. Any help would be appreciated
I had the standalone version of Webroot complete installed on my machine. I had to upgrade my c drive to a larger size. I took it to bestbuy to have the work done. They said they were unable to clone it so they installed a fresh install of windows 10 pro. They put their version of webroot on as part of the package. Do you know if the Bestbuy version includes LastPass. If not, do I need to uninstall their version and install my original version to get LastPass bacK. TKANKS
Developers in my company are having problems with WebRoot creating excessively large log files due to endlessly scanning the executables they are building, testing and running. This goes a bit beyond a regular exception policy, because the executables they create are of course literally brand new every time they start them. I imagine this situation is common for software developers using WebRoot (if there are any), so can anyone point me to the best solution?

Hello! I'm wondering what would happen with online backup files when ransomware do a encryption on my computer? Files are also stored as you know on My Documents/Webroot Anywhere filder.. So basically whatever I do with files from my folder it affect the online files. So it means, if ransomware enter my pc and start encrypt my files, Webroot will replace infected files with the good ones on the cloud, or I'm wrong?
because every time I started the computer, it would ask me if I wanted to allow it to make changes to the computer. I think that means it had crashed. In any case, I went to the webroot website and downloaded the installer. I did search for Webroot Secure Anywhere complete, made sure it was the webroot website and then downloaded. But how do you know for sure which version you have? Is the installer the same for all versions and you keycode determines which version you have? Thanks
Hello Webroot friends! I bought Webroot Complete yesterday for 5 devices, want to try it and do some review about mentioned antivirus. My opinions about Webroot are: Positive:

I was suprised when saw Web Based Control Managment for all your products. You can send commands to other PCs that are protected by Webroot, do a scan, restart etc. It's just amazing addon by Webroot.
Was also very satisfied how small impact does it have on PC memory, almost like it does not exist. No impact, very small but powerful.
You also get 25GB space on cloud which you can access from anywhere! You can always log in and take some documents which you need, anywhere, anytime. Thats amazing too.
Very fast and easy install, you can also randomize letters in install directory which infected machine will not recognize its an antivirus and won't be able to block it.
Fast scans and powerful signatures!
Negative:

At first I had a problem after downloading an Trial ver

Can successfully log into my account on Android mobile, but Webroot will not accept my same login details when trying to log into Reset Password or Security Code as two fixes need attention. It states a new password email has been sent to me but there are no emails in my gmail inbox.
I'm really so frustrated with Webroot and not being a very techie person find all this stressful. Please can you help me. I've had a lot of odd things popped up by Webroot as needing permission to connect to internet. I've blocked them because I haven't installed anything. I finally have the time to go back over them and figure out what they are but I can't find a list of what I've blocked. I did find "block/allow files" tab in the PC Security settings. But it is only 2 files from a while back. Where would I find these recently blocked .exe files listed? Win 10, Webroot Complete
I have WebRoot on two computers and want to install it ton my IPAD. From everything I read, I need to download it from the App Store, which I’ve successfully done. How do I add the IPAD? My account still shows I only have two computer protected and no mobile devices. I’ve looked at related topics, but still having problems.

One Specific File Keeps Returning After Each Scan And Deletion Of It. I Would Like It Gone But It Is Persistent. The File Is: C:\Windows\sysnative\pmls64.dll.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir.vir After Each Scan And Deletion Another .vir Is Added To The End. How Do I Permanently Get Rid Of it? Another Thing Is That When I Try To Get To The File It Says It Does Not Exist Within My Files. The File Was Labeled As Pua.Premier.Opinion
