Green Check Marks Next to results in Search
The green check marks next to results in Google search has stopped working in Chrome. They show up fine in Bing search using Chrome. They work fine in Firefox. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the extension from the Chrome store. Any suggestion on getting them back in Google search? Thank you. Lisa
*Please excues the long backstory Normally, I renew WebRoot by going to BestBuy and physically buying a copy. But this time I renewed on-line. I hit a snag where my new code wasn't updating proper, and read that un-istalling & re-installing WebRoot will fix the problem, which it did. But, my passwords for the PasswordManager are all gone. Also, the console lists no previous saved passwords. My question - Is there anyway to resore the disappering passwords?

How would you rate your performance as of late...
This is an open discussion and something for Mike Potts, David Bennett, Hal Lonas, Chad Bacher, John Post, Melanie Williams, Ryan Howe and Gary Hayslip to ponder on. Here in your own words are the " OUR VALUES " which you claim to stand for. Integrity--Customer Success--Excellence-- Innovation-- " Webroot is passionate about protecting businesses and consumers from Cyber threats. We are the smartest and best at combating today's most complex cyber security challenges and are constantly anticipating how to extend the value of our threat identification, prediction, and remediation to the connected World ". Now ; in regards to Password Manager, how would all of you honestly rate your performance when comparred to your " Stated Values " and your " About Webroot " declaration ?
My daily scheduler is resetting if I scan a file ahead of the daily scheduled scan.
As I mention in the subject line, I appear to be having issues with my webroot scanning setup. It was working fine a few days ago after being fixed for issues where it wasn't doing the scan at all. Now it's having an issue where if I scan a single file ahead of the daily scan, it is resetting itself to start it's next scan in 24 hours instead of just doing it's normal daily scan. The WRData folders and files in the program data section has also taken a massive leap from 110 mb total size (with the size on disk listed as 108 mb.) to 894 total space with 819 mb size on disk. Windows did recently do an update, so maybe that cause the issue? I tried to call customer service, but they're apparently flat out closed on Sundays. If I could, I'd post images for this. Can anyone help? Edit: Ok, so things got worse. The countdown did set back to normal, for whatever reason, but then when it did the countdown, it didn't do the scan and once again just set to scan tomorrow. This is an issue
My question is, is Webroot Internet security plus good for a very expensive notebook or is Webroot more for business customers. Can someone tell me how many users Webroot use? Unfortunately I see webroot in some tests "last" and it is NOT recommended. What do you think ??? Thank you

I'm pretty sure that this is a false positive...
I just bought a new gaming mouse from Patriot https://www.viper.patriotmemory.com/viperv570blackout I installed the software to be able to change DPI, rgb color, and gaming profile settings. Webroot didn't look at the program as a dangerous one upon installation and after however it did detect that the uninstall executable was "adware". I find this quite odd and are almost certain that this is a false positive as Patriot would not do anything as such. I tried selecting the "Restore" option but it still blocks it. How can I exclude it? And what do you guys think about this? Macrium differential image backup fails with incorrect hash value
I'm using Macrium Recflect 7.1.3317 with WRSA and have been getting a "Backup aborted! - 'boot3-10-10.mrimg' Verification failed at <xx>% (Block <yyyyyy> hash value is incorrect)" error when verifying the backup. The backup destination is another machine on the network since I'm using a laptop and don't want to physically tie the laptop to the backup drive. I've tried setting reflectbin.exe and all the other executables in C:Program FilesMacriumReflect to "allow" in the "Block/Allow Files" tab in WRSA but the only way to get a clean backup is to disable Realtime Shield in WRSA. I don't want to manually go in to WSRA and disable Realtime Shield every time a scheduled backup and I'm betting there's no way to run a script or command line option to turn it off at the beginning of the backup then turn it back on when the backup completes. Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this issue? As a side note this issue only crops up when performing a differential image backup of the

Coming down with something!!
Hi, Anybody here been infected with a virus lately although have Internet Security Plus?!!! I'm running loads of scans but WSA comes up with nothing. Internet been horribly slow and jittery, got cut off last night with message saying I needed to contact my ISP to gain access again. Just had a Virgin engineer out who said that there's nothing wrong with the equipment but probably got a virus on the laptop as any page I try to go to is somehow being diverted through another?! and to either do a clean re-install or get a new one. Also have had loads of telephone calls from scammers, last one said I was gonna lose my ISP toward the end of this month so to contact them back to be put thru to a technician - which I scoffed at and hung up!! Don't know what to do now, any thoughts peeps? :@
WSA IS Plus not friendly with Windows 10 Pro
This last weekend, I migrated from an older Win 10 Pro to a new Win 10 Pro desktop. When setting up my default programs, Win 10 Settings would not show some of the programs I loaded (i.e., Chrome, Postbox plus several others). I worked with Microsoft Support for some time trying to figure out why Win 10 would not recognize them. Support eventually figured out it was WSA (ver. 126.96.36.199). I shut it down, uninstalled the programs and reinstalled them. BAM - there the programs were and I could change the defailt programs. Since then, I have tried to change another program default. Same problem. Again shut WSA down, installed the program and no problems. When I installed WSA seven months ago on the old PC, all these programs and default setting were already made on the old desktop. I am wondering if there is a tweak or secret to how to make WSA be more friendly wih Win 10. Do I need to add some URL exceptions or something to not have to go thru this every time I want to add a
Using another clean up Utility while Webroot is installed
Hi, I am new here. I wonder how many of you use Glary Utilities? I had it on my old laptop, and it was great! Now that I got this new laptop, I got the Webroot Internet Security Plus on here. However, I miss a lot of the features of Glary and I was just wondering if it is safe to run Glary while I have this one installed from Webroot? Thanks!
File reported as "Good" by Webroot being monitored
Hi! Today I checked my monitored processes after a windows update and saw that a process named "SearchUI.exe" was being monitored. I calculated the hash of the program and looked it up on Webroot's site and VirusTotal. VT said 0/68 detected and Webroot's site said that the determination was good. Why is it being monitored if Webroot knows that it is good? Here's an image showing it. Slow trackpad ?
Hello, I am new to WRSA and experiencing some uncomfortable behavior : my trackpad gestures (two fingers) got very slow. When I disable WRSA's protection, the trackpad returns back to its normal state. My computer runs Win 10 Pro 64 bits, an AMD A9-9420, 16 GB RAM (4 GB dedicated to the GPU). I have search the KB and didn't found something about. Do you have any idea about ? Many thanks
Webroot suddenly monitoring windows files
Hi! Today I noticed slower performance than normal and connection issues. I checked my router and other devices and they were all connected fine. I then checked Webroot's active process list to see that many system files were suddenly in the "monitored" section. Why is this happening? Is it a repeat of April 2017?
